The annual broodstock catch-up and hen stripping took place under the guidance of Spey Hatchery Manager, Jimmy Woods assisted by Head Bailiff, Richard Whyte, bailiffs Ali Grant and Jason Hysert and a keen team of volunteers including former Delagyle Ghillie, Willie Mearns and Buckie fishermen, Bob Patience, and Ian Robertson, to whom we send our sincere thanks and appreciation for their hard work. Also special thanks to Frank Slater, who helped with the broodstock catch-up but was unfortunately too ill to make the BBQ.
