Week Commencing March 15th – Consistency is good.

I had quite high expectations for last week. River conditions were relatively stable and good for this time of year, weather was settled and warmer than had been, tides were building and salmon were running…….all good signs – right? River height – 1ft10 – 2ft (+/- 2in)   – snow-melt rises most days.  Water Temps – 42-44F or 6-7C Air temps – up to 14C some days Sadly the salmon gods weren’t really listening.
