Following on from last years success, Dunoon and District Angling Club hosted another Casting For Recovery day for cancer patients on Wednesday the 14th May at Loch Tarson. The event was organised by Andrew Barker of the Argyll Fisheries Trust, whilst Paul MacLean, a club member and professional fly casting instructor offered some one to one tuition to all of the patients. Ten cancer patients from Argyll and Inverclyde attended the event and thoroughly enjoyed the day, with some even lucky enough to catch supper! Big thanks to everyone that helped make the day a success.
