Spring seems to have arrived; next week’s forecast has temperatures in double figures all week, with Wednesday and Thursday in the high double figures. There is no rain forecast but I would imagine the warm weather will keep the river high. The wind is from the south or west all week; thank goodness the east wind has gone for a while. The tides continue to build till Wednesday. As I predicted last week the summer visitors started to arrive, on Monday I saw my first Sand Piper and by midweek there were a pair flying around Carron.
