First Springers on the River Teith First Spring salmon caught on the Teith was on the Drumardoch Estate syndicate beat on the Leny. One lucky angler caught a fresh hen fish weighing in at 18lb which was quickly followed by a fresh salmon weighing in at 15lb on Lanrick Estate. No photos of either fish, just a quick and safe return. We believe these are the first springers of the year but if you know of any fresh fish caught earlier we would love to know.
