21st October: Check out Kyle of Sutherland Fisheries’ online auction – 76 lots set to go under the hammer

Kyle of Sutherland Fisheries‘ online fundraising auction is well under way.

There are 76 lots to bid for in the auction which opened on October 2, and runs until next 8pm on Tuesday, October 31.#

A spokesperson for the environmental conservation organisation said: “We have fishing and shooting on offer in beautiful locations, food, drink, holidays and much more. “Thank you to everyone who has placed a bid so far.”

The auction is aimed at raising funds for the Kyle Riverwoods Project and donations can also be made directly through the auction website.

A spokesperson for Kyle of Sutherland Fisheries said: “Rivers in the Kyle of Sutherland area are some of the most vulnerable to global warming. Rising temperatures are stressing freshwater pearl mussels and killing trough and Atlantic salmon.”
