2016 Conservation status

Scottish Government have produced a new assessment of the Conservation status of Scottish Rivers, which can be downloaded from the Scottish Government website.

Within the Cromarty Firth Region the Rivers Conon, Alness and Glass have been assessed as Grade 1 whilst the Balnagown River has been assessed as Grade 3.
