Below are the annual close times for each salmon fishery district in Scotland which specify when fishing is not permitted. However, the rod fishing season extends into part of the annual close time – see the rod and line fishing seasons for each district.

Please note that the Conservation of Salmon (Scotland) Regulations 2016 prohibit the retention of salmon caught in waters outside estuary limits.
