Another changeable week in store, there will be rain on Tuesday and perhaps heavier rain on Thursday. Temperatures will struggle to get above the mid teens. The tides have peaked and there will be no new water till next week. I’m not sure whether today’s rain will make a difference to the river height, but the showers have been fairly heavy. Catches, have been a little disappointing but with the grilse runs in abeyance big numbers were never going to happen this season.
