The cold snap of the weekend will hopefully disappear as we start the week, temperatures will be around 4c on Monday and Tuesday rising to double that by Thursday. There might be some rain mid week and again next Saturday. Hopefully the rise in temperatures will bring a rise in catches. The tides peak on Monday evening and there will be no new water for the rest of the week. Catches. The highest beat to report a fresh fish is slowly creeping up the river, with both Carron and Laggan getting their first of the season late in the week.…
