Christmas Restrictions and Fishing In light of last nights announcements, Scotland will enter tier 4 from Boxing day for 3 weeks. During this time, travel between local authority areas is restricted and cross border travel prohibited but fishing can continue if the fishery you plan to fish is located in the same local authority area as where you live. At this time of year, most fisheries are closed but there are a few that are still open where they offer grayling or coarse fishing.
