February Fishing around the Forth Report The salmon season officially opened its doors on some of the Forths rivers on the 1st February with many celebrations taking place to mark the start of a new season. The River Forth, Teith, Almond and Leven all open to anglers and all other rivers open on the 16th March for migratories or the 15th for brown trout. On the River Teith, Stirling Council Fisheries were the first to kick things off with their annual celebration taking place in Callander.
