Fishing around the Forth Update Report – July 2021 Fishing has been tough during July as exceptionally warm weather moved in. This led to very little rainfall throughout July which also led to very high river temperatures. Some fisheries closed due to high water temperatures as anything over 18c increased the risk of mortality of fish caught and then released. With that in mind, very few anglers were out fishing to let the fish cope with rising temperatures. The anglers who did head out tended to go out early morning or late evening when water temperatures cooled off a bit.…
