Mr Bilsby added: “We are also recruiting an army of volunteers in order to combat alien plant species across the catchment. It is noteworthy and indeed pleasing that most of the projects we are spearheading to restore the Dee are now attracting a mix of both public and private funds. The latter element is growing every year as more and more businesses and business people appreciate that the health of the Dee is important for the well-being of the area as a whole”.
The opening ceremony at Potarch is taking place by kind permission of Ballogie Estate. Refreshments are being provided by the DDSFB. There will also be a tasting of the new edition of the Dee Dram.
