Last week was dominated by April showers, some of them wintery, Ben Rinnes was white again on Friday. Next week will be a little warmer with temperatures shooting up by next weekend. The tides are building till Tuesday then there will be no new water till next week. I was disappointed to hear of an incident where Alan Williams, Spey Board member was verbally and racially abused by a canoeist at Knockando. The paddler would not give his name and his canoe had no identification. Surely the canoe authorities should insist that the canoeists using the river can be identified…
