POLICE have joined fishery board patrols targeting people who fish illegally as part of an operation which “proved to be productive”.
The Cromarty Firth District Salmon Fishery Board welcomed the involvement of police in its work.
The board is the statutory body responsible for managing salmon and sea trout in the Cromarty Firth region.
