New funding mechanisms are urgently needed if we are to meet nature targets to halt biodiversity loss on land and in our rivers, coasts, and seas by 2030.

Fisheries Management Scotland is inviting bids from interested parties to provide services to explore a “source to sea nature finance model” and to recommend preferred option/s for the governance, legal and financial framework by which it will operate. The funding for this contract is provided through an award from the Facility for Investment Ready Nature in Scotland (FIRNS) supported by NatureScot and the National Heritage Lottery Fund.
