Fisheries Management Scotland, the representative body for Scotland’s District Salmon Fishery Boards and Rivers and Fisheries Trusts has today launched a new website: www.fms.scot.

The website includes news and events from across the fisheries management community, with close coordination with member’s websites.

Dr Alan Wells, CEO of Fisheries Management Scotland said, “This website is the first step in our strategy to highlight the work that Fisheries Management Scotland, and the community of District Salmon Fishery Boards and Rivers and Fisheries Trusts, are doing to protect and enhance our important freshwater fisheries and the habitats on which they depend. Fisheries Management Scotland works hard to represent the interests of fish and fisheries across a wide range of fora and it is important that a wide range of partners and interested bodies and individuals know what is actually taking place in the complicated world of fisheries management.”
