Year after year, thousands of events take place globally to celebrate the International Day of Women in Science  on Saturday 11 February 2023.

Fisheries Management Scotland recognise the huge importance of ensuring women are well represented and play an active role at all levels in the fisheries management sector. We would like to celebrate the day by highlighting women in our membership who play a key role the protection and enhancement of our aquatic environment through science and management. We hope that you find these contributions interesting, thought provoking and inspiring.
